Golden Fest

Sunday, October 8th 2017 for 1-10 p.m. Rolando Chang Barrero will host the Boynton Beach’s 6th Annual Golden Fest. The Golden Fest began on Rolando’s 50th birthday as a token of appreciation to the artists and community in 2001. The festival has become a day long showcase of art, music, and performances by young emerging artists and musicians in South Florida. All are invited to stroll the district embellished with murals, visit with the various resident artists studios, meet with some of the best talent in Palm Beach that will be setting up tents throughout the area and enjoy treats for from the food trucks and specialty vendors.

The Industrial Park area will also be the Art Synergy’s Hurricane Recovery and Relief Drive # 2: U.S.V.I. and P.R., the second large scale relief effort Rolando Chang Barrero has organized since the IRMA Hurricane paved the devastating path for Hurricanes Maria and Jose.

Art Synergy, Mayor Steven B. Grant of Boynton Beach, Aquanette Tyson-Thomas, Purple Door Entertainment, The United Way of Palm Beach, United Way of U.S.V.I., and of Puerto Rico will be sponsoring the supply drive to help fill 100 shipping containers for victims.
